Job Description : Computer Consultant/Instructor

PRIMARY BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY

To provide instruction in a predetermined subject/application area in such a manner that each student has the most opportunity for personal growth and advancement.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Graduation from a four-year college. Education, Communications or Computer Science degree preferred but not required.
2. Computer literate in Microsoft, Lotus, Corel, and other industry applications.
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Application of system analysis techniques and procedures including consulting with users to determine hardware/software or system functional specifications.
2. To meet every class session promptly and ready for that sessions instruction.
3. Coordination and implementation of instruction in an orderly and professional manner.
4. Set-up and clean-up classroom at the beginning and at the end of each class/session.
5. Confirm that all materials are ordered and prepared for class sessions.
6. Confirm necessary arrangements for refreshments for the class sessions.
7. Coordination and implementation of one-on-one instruction in an orderly and professional manner
8. Curriculum design and development as needed by software subject and client.
9. Computer education and training industry research.
10. Develop and maintain relations with various clients in the local business community.
11. Explain and market program and classes to prospective clients.
12. Assist Administrative Support by answering the telephone, intercepts telephone calls, taking and reporting messages.
13. Promote services and classes through conventions, public relations, trade shows, etc.

SUPERVISION

Supervision shall come from the Site Director
All instructors will need to become Certified Technical Trainers (CTT) through the Chauncey Group International program before the end of their Probationary Period.
